Hey Family! I need to put pictures up and I will soon! But I just thought I'd let everyone know that I am happy and alive! Im moving back to Rexburg on April 19th for summer semester and I can hardly wait. Im taking 15 credits, so not a real heavy load but I cant wait to get back into school. I've missed BYU-I so much. Not the weather though! I guess the biggest news in my life right now, if you haven't already heard from my mother, I have something we like to call a boyfriend! Dad isn't too fond of the idea nor are my brothers.. but the fam has met him and they all seem to like him.. I sure like him! His name is Marcus and he's from Seattle. I met him last September and we've dated on and off since October and became "official" in February when I went up to visit.. Things are going well. He's a good guy and treats me well. Im really happy! Love you all! :)

This one's for Dad, he hates the white coat with the fur.

You can't replace the friendships that you make on the mission. Here we are at a little reunion I put together, authentic mexican dinner and all.

A friend was in charge of putting on a Married Couples Dance at school and since she is single, needed a date for the evening - so we pretended to be married, with rings and all. We had a good time.

My roommate Mark (guy on the far left) and I had a ball at a friend's Celebrity Look-alike B-day Party in Park City. We went as Andy and Jim from the "The Office". (If you don't know what "The Office" is, we can't be friends.)

Semester Recap - not preview, yes I go to college, but looks like I don't listen.

Ok Lesa... you win! We're all losers. Here's my first post for the Blog - I thought, why not give a little recap of the semester. Here goes.

Well, right before last semester ended, I moved from my aunt Lynn and uncle Robb's house in Orem to a condo complex a couple of blocks south of campus here in Provo... I needed to be closer to campus hopefully to encourage better study habits, make more friends, and get involved in a student singles ward. I didn't know what I was getting myself into - just kidding, with the exception of a few interesting roommates, it's been an overall more positive transition than I thought. I'll have to admit, I liked my space and freedom.

To kick off the new year and semester, some friends and I decided to take a little Baja tour through my mission in Mexico over the New Year holiday - all I can say is that Mexico is always an adventure... I'll have to post some pics. later because they're still on my friend's camera. Shortly after returning back home to AZ, on to Provo we went to start school again. For some reason, I decided to be super ambitious and overload myself with 16 credits this semester - not the smartest idea. Between introductory science courses, religion, spanish (of course), and some more generals, I've kept myself substantially busy over the course of the semester.

I've been pretty active and consistent in going to the gym regularly with a friend that I worked with last summer in DC who also goes to BYU. My hopes have been to gain a little muscle mass, and I've come to find out, it's not as easy as you think if you're super skinny. He and I have become such good friends that he asked me to be one of his groomsman at his wedding at the end of April. I'm excited and will be heading up to Boise for the wedding right after finals! (Yes, he's marrying an Idaho girl - there's just something about them...)

Trying to get a grip on the future, I've done lots of soul searching this semester and will continue my search throughout the summer, as I will go home for the first time in three years. My hopes are to get my foot in the door of the medical field. I'm still not exactly sure if med school is what I want, being that BYU science classes aren't getting any easier, but I am going to at least try and get a little more experience and idea of what it's like this summer while at home. From mission reunions and married couples dances? to being accepted into the Spanish Translation program at BYU and a few trips home to AZ, this semester has been a crazy one! I'll finish it off with a couple of quick trips to Idaho, possibly one of those being to Rexburg, and then down to AZ I will go - not to mention that the tonsillectomy I've been wanting to get for so long will start my summer off... lucky! Oh, and by the way, no I'm not currently dating anyone in particular - who knows when marriage will come?

Now that I've finished my novel of a blog - maybe some of you will take the time to read it. :)
Love you all,

Landon
